The Chase by Janet Evanovich and Lee Goldberg

The Chase by Janet Evanovich and Lee Goldberg
Published by Headline Review on February 25, 2014

Summary: "Internationally renowned thief and con artist Nicolas Fox is famous for running elaborate and daring scams. His greatest con of all: convincing the FBI to team him up with the only person who has ever caught him, and the only woman to ever capture his attention, Special Agent Kate O’Hare. Together they’ll go undercover to swindle and catch the world’s most wanted—and untouchable—criminals. Their newest target is Carter Grove, a former White House chief of staff and the ruthless leader of a private security agency. Grove has stolen a rare Chinese artifact from the Smithsonian, a crime that will torpedo U.S. relations with China if it ever becomes public. "  --From Goodreads

Things I Loved:
The chemistry.  Nick and Kate have really great chemistry.  They make each other laugh, and then they'll have a moment that makes the reader shiver with excitement.

Cast of Characters.  Evanovich's books always have a great kooky cast of characters in her books and this one did not disappoint.  Willie and Boyd are probably my favorites.

Thing I Disliked:
The ending.  It was unrealistic and seemed like it was POOF! over.

Overall: Another entertaining read from Evanovich and Goldberg.  I can't wait for future installments starring Fox and O'Hare.

Disclosure: I purchased my own copy.

  1. This kind of makes me think of The Catch, that new show? IT's a very cool premise!
