[Favorite] Picture Books of 2015

Today I'm posting about my favorite picture books published in 2015.  Some favorite authors published new books (Jan Brett, Mo Willems) and I also found some new favorites.  Enjoy!

Everyone Loves Bacon by Kelly DiPucchio
Everyone loves Bacon.  That is-until Bacon's fame goes to his head. He's so busy soaking up the attention, that he soon forgets the important things in life, like friendship and family.

Bear Counts by Karma Wilson
Numbers, numbers everywhere.  Can you count along with Bear?

I Will Take a Nap! by Mo Willems
In I Will Take a Nap! Gerald is tired and cranky. Will Piggie be in his dreams? Or will she keep Gerald from dreaming at all?

Max the Brave by Ed Vore
Max is a fearless kitten. Max is a brave kitten. Max is a kitten who chases mice. There's only one problem-Max doesn't know what a mouse looks like!

Miss Hazeltine is opening a very special school for shy and fearful cats. They come from all over, and Miss Hazeltine gives them lessons in everything, from “Bird Basics” to “How Not to Fear the Broom.”

Sea Rex by Molly Idle
Join Cordelia and her crestacious companions as they spend a memorable day at the beach, as only dinosaurs can do!

Supertruck by Stephen Savage
When the city is hit by a colossal snowstorm, only one superhero can save the day. But who is this mysterious hero, and why does he disappear once his job is done?

Here Comes the Tooth Fairy Cat by Deborah Underwood
When Cat loses a tooth, the Tooth Fairy delivers a wholly unwanted sidekick: a mouse. Together, Cat and Mouse are tasked with running a few Tooth Fairy-related errands—a challenge, since Mouse is just as competitive and mischievous and hilariously self-involved as Cat.

The Turnip by Jan Brett
In a rollicking, cumulative tale, a badger family and their friends–Hedgie, Mr. Ram and Vanya, the horse–struggle to pull up a giant turnip.

You Nest Here With Me by Jane Yolen
With rhyming text, this soothing bedtime book is an ode to baby birds everywhere and sleepy children home safe in their own beds.

Have you read any on this list?  Have any favorites I didn't mention?
