Definitely a tie between A Court of Mist and Fury & Empire of Storms both by Sarah J. Maas.

2. Book You Were Excited About & Thought You Were Going To Love More But Didn’t?

The Leaving by Tara Altebrando.  The premise sounded amazing, but the execution not so much.

3. Most surprising (in a good way or bad way) book you read in 2016?

Illuminae & Gemina both by Amie Kaufman & Jay Kristoff.  I loved the uniqueness of each read.

4. Book You “Pushed” The Most People To Read (And They Did) In 2016?

I pushed a lot of people to read Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo.

Best series started: Blackhearts by Nicole Castroman

I did a series of Christmas movie reviews that I really enjoyed.

I really enjoyed writing about how I use Google Calendar to keep track of my blog posts.

4. Best event that you participated in (author signings, festivals, virtual events, memes, etc.)?

Top Ten Tuesday is still my favorite!

5. Best moment(s) of bookish/blogging life in 2016?

I always love getting to interact with authors on Twitter.

The books I can't wait for in January - June 2017 got a lot of love.

The Collector & The Liar both by Nora Roberts.  Her standalones have left me wanting more lately.

3. Most surprising (in a good way or bad way) book you read in 2015?

I picked up the Delirium series by Lauren Oliver on a whim, and I loved it.

I pushed a lot of people to read Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard.

Girls Like Us by Gail Giles was really outside of my comfort zone, and I really enjoyed it.

Loved Red Queen!

Delirium.  I can't believe it took me until 2015 to discover Lauren Oliver.

Annith, Sybella, and Ismae from the His Fair Assassin trilogy.  Loved the girl power from these handmaidens of Death.

I loved reading Queen of Shadows.

The Heir.  The ending of that book was just horrible, and now obviously I have to read the next book now.

I really enjoyed Love, Lucy.  I really loved the fact it was set in Italy.

Really no soul crushing this year.

I really enjoyed the Ms. Marvel graphic novel series.

Again.  The Heir made me the most mad.  I hated hated hated that ending.

I want to set a schedule and stay with it in 2016.  I also want to incorporate more content so it's not relying so heavily on reading and reviewing books.

Fantasy: Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas
Contemporary: Anna and the French Kiss series by Stephanie Perkins
Non-fiction: The Family Romanovs by Candice Fleming

2. Book You Were Excited About & Thought You Were Going To Love More But Didn’t?

Pointe by Brandy Colbert.  I remembered being underwhelmed by the plot.  The synopsis was more exciting than the actual book.

3. Most surprising (in a good way or bad way) book you read in 2014?

Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas.  I really didn't think I'd like it as much as I did.  I fell in love with Calaena.

4. Book You “Pushed” The Most People To Read (And They Did) In 2014?

It probably ended up being the Throne of Glass series.  I also recommended The Selection series by Keira Cass a lot as well.

Best series ender: Blood of Olympus by Rick Riordan

7. Best book from a genre you don’t typically read/was out of your comfort zone?

I don't read a lot of non-fiction, but I'm really glad I decided to read The Family Romanov by Candice Fleming.

8. Most action-packed/thrilling/unputdownable book of the year?

I loved Cress by Marissa Meyer.  There was definitely a lot of action with Captain Thorne.

9. Book You Read In 2014 That You Are Most Likely To Re-Read Next Year?

I will probably end up re-reading the entire Lunar Chronicles series in anticipation of the last book, Winter.

I'm usually the one doing the peer pressure.  It's one of the perks of being a librarian.

Captain Thorne from the Lunar Chronicles.

I would have to say Open Road Summer by Emery Lord.  I loved the friendship between Lilah and Reagan.

Definitely has to be the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas.  Love the fae.

25. Book That Put A Smile On Your Face/Was The Most FUN To Read?

I thought Geography of You and Me was a fun book to read.

I had to read Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson again for class this year.  I always shed a few tears when I read that.

Unfortunately, because of school I had a hard time doing anything other than homework.  I plan to change that next year!

Anything on my TBR is fair game, but my first priority will be Raging Heat by Richard Castle or Of Neptune by Anna Banks.

I don't usually find out about debuts until they debut.

The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer.  I think I'm going to cry.
