Published by Delacorte Books for Young Readers on October 8, 2013

Summary: "A week ago Dinah’s cousin, Claire, cut her wrists. Five days ago Dinah found Claire’s dairy and discovered why. Three days ago Dinah stopped crying and came up with a plan. Two days ago she ditched her piercings and bleached the black dye from her hair. Yesterday knee socks and a plaid uniform became a predator’s camouflage. Today Dinah will find the boy that broke Claire. By tomorrow he’ll wish he was dead." --From Goodreads

My Thoughts:

The description on the inside flap is what drew me in. It’s a very good book for those who struggle with self-mutilation. One of the supporting characters does it, and Claire does it as well.

I did figure the book out about halfway through, but that’s not what the main purpose of the book is. The journey to self discovery is very important.

Disclosure: I borrowed a copy from my library.
