Overall: The point of this movie was a little lost on me.  It also wasn't entirely Christmasey either, but the movie was still entertaining.

Cheese Factor: 3/5

Some things cannot be explained.  It seriously peeves me when that happens.

Overall: I think this movie is perfect for those movie nights with your girlfriends and a bottle of wine.

Favorite Christmas Movies: Very Merry Mix-up

Summary: "Shop owner Alice Chapman is nervous about meeting her future in-laws at Christmas, especially because she is arriving ahead of her new fiancé, Will Mitchum. Alice's trip becomes more stressful when her luggage is lost and her phone is damaged, leaving her no way to find Will's family!"

Cheese Factor: 2/5

Sending your fiance home to meet your parents alone?  Such a jerk move.

Overall: This would be a movie to watch with your best girlfriends.  Such a cute story line.

Favorite Christmas Movies: White Christmas

Summary: "A successful song-and-dance team become romantically involved with a sister act and team up to save the failing Vermont inn of their former commanding general."

Cheese Factor: 2/5

Everything is entirely believable in this 1950's classic, but you do need to remember that it is set in 1953.

Overall: The perfect movie to watch while wrapping presents.  You'll be humming the tunes the entire next day.

Favorite Christmas Movie: Royal Christmas

Summary: "Prince Leopold, heir to the throne of Cordinia, wishes to marry his young love Emily Taylor, a humble seamstress from Philadelphia. But Leopold's mother, Queen Isadora has other plans for her son."

Cheese Factor: 5/5

A prince?  And the fact that she would learn all of the proper skills of being a princess in just a few hours?  Plus I could not see Queen Isadora flying to Philadelphia.

Overall: Definitely a movie to watch while drinking wine with your best girlfriends.  You'll laugh about how implausible the entire movie is, but it's still a heartwarming.

Favorite Christmas Movies: The Christmas Lodge

Summary: "Mary Tobin has wonderful memories of family gatherings at the Christmas Lodge. When she arrives for a weekend vacation, she quickly realizes that the lodge that she loves has fallen into serious disrepair. With a lack of funds and a looming deadline, she not only restores the Christmas lodge's charm but finds love along the way."

Cheese Factor: 1/5

Everything in this movie is believable, and will make you cry at the end.  This movie also has a decidedly Christian flavor as well. 

Overall: A great movie about how if you keep trying and have faith, everything will work out.

Favorite Christmas Movies: The Christmas Ornament

Summary: "A widow plans to give Christmas festivities a miss, as they bring back too many memories of her late husband."

I'm trying to think of anything that would be cheesy, and I can't think of anything.

Overall: I think this movie is great for the holidays.  It's supposed to remind us to reach for our own dreams, and try to manage expectations of others.

Favorite Christmas Movies: Christmas with the Kranks

Summary: "With their daughter away, the Kranks decide to skip Christmas altogether until she decides to come home, causing an uproar when they have to celebrate the holiday at the last minute."

There are a lot of funny parts in this movie, but nothing that I would peg as too unbelievable.

Overall: A great Christmas movie!  Jamie Lee Curtis and Tim Allen deliver the funniest Christmas movie.  This is one to watch with the boyfriend because of the funny bits.

Favorite Christmas Movies: Call Me Mrs. Miracle

Summary: "No one celebrates the holidays like Emily Merkle - or Mrs. Miracle as she is known by some - who is back to ensure that this Christmas is the most magical and meaningful of all."

Pretty high cheese factor here.  I find it hard to believe that the toys would just conveniently break.

Overall: Not as good as the first Mrs. Miracle movie, but still pretty good.  This would be a great movie to have on while cleaning before your in-laws come over.

You have to suspend your disbelief with this one.  Mrs. Miracle influences a lot of things to just "happen".  

Overall: Still a great story.  This story makes me want to believe that angels do exist.

Favorite Christmas Movies: The Santa Clause 3

Summary: "Santa, aka Scott Calvin, is faced with double-duty: how to keep his new family happy, and how to stop Jack Frost from taking over Christmas."

Cheese Factor: 3/5

The cheese factor gets higher with each movie.  Santa has to deal with Jack Frost and his in-law's for Christmas.  Also features what would have happened if Scott Calvin wouldn't have become Santa.

Overall: Still a movie I would watch with kids.  The North Pole is still magical to watch, and Martin Short will provide laughs for both kids and parents.

Summary: "Scott Calvin has been a humble Santa Claus for nearly ten years, but it might come to an end if he doesn't find a Mrs. Claus."

Definitely more cheese in this movie than the first.  The introduction of other legendary figures?  Plus, the fact that they forgot about the Mrs. Claus clause for 10 years?  Unlikely.

Overall: Still a great movie to watch with kids because of the humor.  Plus, the North Pole is still magical.

Favorite Christmas Movies: The Santa Clause

Summary: "When a man inadvertently kills Santa on Christmas Eve, he finds himself magically recruited to take his place."

Cheese Factor: 1/5

Very low cheesiness with this movie.  The entire movie is magical.  This is one to watch with your kids so you can "ooh" and "aah" over the North Pole.  There are a lot of funny parts (Comet the reindeer especially).

Overall: This movie is just so magical.  I love its take on the North Pole.  It's just a heartwarming story to watch.

Favorite Christmas Movies: A Christmas Kiss

Summary: "Wendy is an aspiring designer and assistant to her callous boss Priscilla. Unfortunately, Wendy's dreams of impressing her boss get complicated when she realizes that the mysterious man she kissed in a falling elevator is Priscilla's boyfriend, Adam. As Adam and Wendy's friendship grows, Priscilla is forced to take drastic measures to make sure her engagement goes forward as planned. Will Wendy and Adam connect before it's too late?"

Cheese Factor: 2/5

Working for a domineering boss is portrayed entirely too real, but the fact that Wendy spends so much time with Adam is a bit unrealistic.

Overall: A good movie to watch with your girlfriends.  You can swoon over Adam and Wendy's romance and commiserate over who has had the worst boss.

Favorite Christmas Movies: 12 Dates of Christmas

Summary: "A story that follows Kate, a young woman who after a horrible blind date on Christmas Eve, wakes up to find she is re-living that same day and date all over again."

Cheese Factor: 3/5

There are some moments where this movie becomes cliche.  During Kate's journey, of course she has to go and spend a bunch of money and give herself a major makeover.  

Overall: This is one of my favorite Christmas romantic comedies.  I love the chemistry between Kate and Miles.  The journey that Kate goes on is very important, and brings a smile to your face.

If you want a funny, lighthearted Christmas movie, this is for you!
